Thanksgiving 2011

This year Justin, Rebekah, and Gracie couldn’t make it home for Thanksgiving.  Last year my parents went to Texas with them, the year before Justin’s mom visited with them in Texas, and the year before they were just married and on a cruise.  So, we were so excited to be able to travel to NJ to visit.  Let me back up…we were so excited to visit with them in NJ…not travel to NJ. :)   It took us FIFTEEN HOURS to get there.  Everyone in America was traveling on I-95 with us.  Anyways, enough of that.  The kids were great.  They read books, colored, sang songs, watched movies, ate, napped, played with toys and stuffed animals, and more!  We had a GREAT thanksgiving meal.

We played games by the fire. We even celebrated Christmas with them.  Justin will be deployed very soon so Bekah and Gracie will be heading down here for a few weeks.  That’s why we celebrated early.  We went for the first time and cut down a tree.  It was so fun!   One day we went to see Uncle Justin’s plane.  So fun! :)   We had a great time.(Oh, and the trip back was only 11 hours. :) )
