Big Day Tomorrow

I’m sitting at home thinking about how much our lives are going to change tomorrow.  Exactly 2 months ago today, Anna Claire and Charlie came into our lives.  It was the most exciting and most scary day of our lives.  We had no idea what was in store.  Tomorrow will be day 63 in the NICU.  I am so grateful to the nurses, doctors, and staff who have not only just taken care of our babies as another case, but have truly cared for our babies and loved on them.  It is amazing how these two pound miracles have already grown to be 5 and 6 pounds.  They can breathe on their own and eat enough to nourish themselves.  They can maintain their temperatures and keep their heartrates steady.  God is truly in control.  They had their eye exams today and everything went well.  We have to have one more exam on May 27.  Now that all that is over, we get to go to the hospital one more time tomorrow and leave with our little ones.  Stay tuned for the first update from home.
