Valentine’s Celebrations

Devin and I started dating 10 years ago!  For our first Valentine’s day he gave me one long stem red rose.  Every year after that for Valentine’s day, my birthday, our anniversary, and this past year mother’s day he has given me one long stem red rose.  However this year, I got 3!  He said Anna Claire and Charlie wanted to give Mommy one too!  So sweet! 🙂  My sister, Melanie, sent me a carnation at school and Mrs. Trudy gave Anna Claire and Charlie each a carnation as well.  Here are our pretty flowers.

Anna Claire and Charlie made these handprint hearts with Mrs. Kim and Sarah Ann.

Saturday night we made heart shaped cookies for Valentine’s day.  Here’s Mommy and Charlie.  He was mostly interested in eating the sprinkles container.  Here’s Daddy and AC.  Daddy:  “Oooohh….”  You may ask, why is he saying that to sweet Anna Claire.  It’s because…Yep!  She grabbed the cookie dough.  And she ate it!!  Silly girl.

Sunday morning I put all their Valentine cards on the table and made them heart shaped waffles.

I am so in love with these two little ones and my wonderful husband!

Mark 12:28-31  One of the teachers of the law came and heard them debating. Noticing that Jesus had given them a good answer, he asked him, “Of all the commandments, which is the most important?”

“The most important one,” answered Jesus, “is this: ‘Hear, O Israel, the Lord our God, the Lord is one.  Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind and with all your strength.’  The second is this: ‘Love your neighbor as yourself.’  There is no commandment greater than these.”
