Happy Birthday Jesus

Anna Claire’s and Charlie’s friends Sarah Ann and Reece invited them and their friends Nathan, Addie, and Carlie (and their mommies) over to have a birthday party for Jesus.  What a fun creative idea to help our children remember the true meaning of Christmas.  (I can take no credit in this idea…it was all Cortney!)  We had a cookie cake and let the big kids decorate cupcakes. They really liked eating the icing. They also made birthday cards and had fun playing together.  These sweet blue-eyed babies just had fun crawling around and exploring. If you look closely at Anna Claire and Charlie you can see the Christmas tree shirts we made one day with their footprints.  As you can tell, we had so much fun!!  🙂

  1. Precious! We got into the habit 10 years ago of doing bday cake with some friends. We also Christmas carol on the same night around our neighborhoods or at a nursing home and then come back to do birthday cake and hot chocolate. As the kids have gotten older, it’s their favorite tradition at Christmas time 🙂 Such sweet memories you’re making with AC and C!
