Independence Day Celebrations

We had some family over for a cookout at our house Saturday, July 2.  Devin smoked some meat and made a fun cornhole game.  We had a great time.

Monday morning we went to the Gilbert Peach Festival with Papa, Granny, and Aunt Melanie.  The kiddos loved watching the parade and eating peach icecream.  We ran into some friends while listening to the music.  Such fun!

Monday evening Nana and Grandpa came over and we played with sparklers.  This made Mommy a little nervous but they did great and had a wonderful time!

I’m so thankful for the Declaration of Independence our country adopted in 1776 and I am also SO thankful for the men and women who continue to protect these rights.  Happy 4th!
