Sometimes the days may seem so long…

…but the years go by so fast.  I read this quote a friend of mine posted on Facebook and it honestly made my eyes fill with tears.  The first year of the twins’ lives began with touch and go days, 9 months of me teaching during the day, Devin teaching at night, middle of the night feedings, little to no sleep, juggling 2 crying babies…and now it all seems like a blur.  In the blink of an eye they are running, laughing, playing together, talking, getting into trouble, growing, and loving life.  I just thought I’d share that quote, especially for all my “mommy friends” who may experience those LONG days every now and then.  Remember…enjoy them because the years go by so fast!  Here’s a picture of our precious little ones on their first day of 2 year old preschool.  Here they are today at preschool.  The theme this month is farm animals so their teacher had someone bring in a live hen for them to pet and hold.  She said in an email to all the parents that the girls in the class liked holding the hen but the boys just wanted to pet it.  Isn’t that funny?  She did say that Charlie was “really good at the finding the number game.” 🙂  Ahhh!  I love these kiddos!!
