Thank you for serving!

My friend, Erika, is a high school math teacher but is also in the National Guard.  She was deployed recently but was injured and is now home to do rehab after her surgery.  I took the kiddos to go to dinner with her and my two other teacher friends, Kathryn and Trudy the other night at Chick-fil-a.  We all had a great time!  AC was very concerned about Ms. Erika’s hand.
Charlie just had fun playing. 🙂

I was thinking the other day about how she wouldn’t have gotten hurt unless she was willing to go fight for MY freedom.  Hmmm…think about that one!  We should all continue to keep our American soldiers in our prayers.  My brother-in-law is a pilot in the Air Force.  He will be deployed early in 2012 as well as some shorter 1 week trips this Fall.  Here he is with my precious niece.  Thank you, Erika and Justin, for serving our country!  Love y’all! 🙂
