Thankful

In November we celebrated Thanksgiving.  At school, Anna Claire and Charlie learned about the pilgrims and Indians, the Nina, Pinta, and Santa Maria…we wore turkey shirts, played outside in the leaves, drank hot chocolate, ate way too much yummy food with family, and more!  But my favorite time of every day was right before bed.  Every night we read books and say our prayers before our kiddos go to bed.  Well, every night of November 1-30 we also wrote on paper leaves something we were thankful for.  “Give thanks to the LORD, for he is good; his love endures forever.” Psalm 107:1  By the end of the month this tree was SO FULL!!  Here is a picture after the first few days along with a picture of Anna Claire and Charlie eating a yummy icecream cone Daddy got them. 🙂treeswing

Other things we are thanful for this month are the right to vote (see their “I Voted” stickers below.  They were so good waiting in line and helping Mommy and Daddy vote!) and for my cousin’s sweet new baby Cole! 🙂votecole
