Happy Fourth Birthday! (part 1)

Anna Claire and Charlie had a week full of celebrations! On Tuesday at preschool the students sang “Happy Birthday” to them and their friend, Carlie, during chapel.chapel  When they got home from school they had several cards from family and a package in the mail from the Brazells so we had to FaceTime and open it. 🙂brazell packageWednesday was a baking day.  We took these yummy cupcakes to AWANAs at church to celebrate with our friends.dessert  Thursday was their birthday.  They woke up and were so excited.gum  (Short side story:  When Anna Claire and Charlie were about 2 they asked for gum.  I said no and told them they had to be 4 to chew gum.  The age 4 seemed so old at the time and so far away.  Well…as their 4th birthday approached, it was all they could talk about.  Their sweet teacher at church gave them each a pack of gum for their birthday.) So…as soon as they woke up, the first thing they asked for was that gum! gum2 Before school we had breakfast at Chick-fil-a.chickfila  At school I brought a special snack to share with their friends.  I got to stay for the rest of the day and it was so much fun…puzzles, reading books, singing songs…and I even got a stamp at the end of the day like the kids do because I was a good listener.  🙂  school partyThursday afternoon Charlie had his first soccer practice of this season.soccer pract  After practice, we met Granny, Papa, Aunt Melanie, Nana, and Grandpa for dinner.  We had yummy pizza, cake, and they even got to open presents from their grandparents.  It was so much fun!!bday dinner

I can’t believe our babies are four.  Anna Claire and Charlie, you are such a blessing.  Your love of life is contagious.  You are so smart and are loved so much!!  Happy birthday!
