First Week of 2015!

Happy New Year!  We had a great first week of 2015.  We started off with the kids having a sleepover with Nana, Grandpa, and their cousin Parker on New Year’s Eve while mommy and daddy had a date night.IMG_8443 For supper on January 1,  we had grilled pork chops and the traditional collards, black eyed peas, and cornbread.  Yum! IMG_8189 Other fun things we did the first week of 2015 were bowling, seeing ‘Annie’ at the movie theater,IMG_8455went to the state museum with Granny, Papa, and Gracie, IMG_8365family game night, IMG_8209 mommy had lunch with her sisters,IMG_8194 we had a late Christmas get together with the Winns,IMG_8242 took sweet Daisy to the vet,IMG_8306 went to IKEA in Charlotte and had lunch with Granny,IMG_8260IMG_8261 went to Discovery place, IMG_8300 IMG_8303visited the zoo with our friends,IMG_8436 IMG_8437 IMG_8438 IMG_8439 IMG_8440 IMG_8441 IMG_8442 had our 6th annual cookie day with Mrs. Elizabeth, IMG_8353and had one more play date with the Brazells before they headed back to NM.IMG_8354It was a busy 7 days, but we had a blast.  The kiddos headed back to school Wednesday and were really excited to see their teachers and friends.  We’re looking forward to a wonderful 2015!

**Also, over Devin’s Christmas break, he worked so hard building things for us.  He built a new kitchen table and corner cabinet, a scratching post for our cat, and put together the chairs, new bookshelf, shoe rack, and shelving in Charlie’s room.  Thanks honey!!! 🙂 IMG_8499IMG_8486
