Disney World

Summer 2015 was wonderful! I can’t believe I never blogged about our trip. When AC and Charlie were little, probably 2 or 3, they were spending the night with my parents and they watched a disney movie. At the beginning of each Disney movie they show the castle. My dad said, “Papa’s going to take you there one day.” Oops.  Those little kiddos remembered that and every time they saw it they would say “Papa’s gonna take us there!” Well, granny and papa graciously followed through on that promise and we all went to Disney world the week they got out of school. Seven days of fun!! Day 1 – Travel, check into resort, swim, bippity boppity boutique, lego store, then dinner at Chef Mickeys. fullsizerenderDay 2 – Magic Kingdom! Lunch at Belle’s Castle, Festival of Fantasy parade, character dinner with pooh and friends, main street electrical lights parade and wishes fireworks. Our favorite ride that day was the seven dwarfs mine train, our favorite character to meet was Merida from Brave, and we had two exhausted babies after day two! fullsizerender_1Day 3 – Animal Kingdom! Highlights of this day were the Kilimanjaro Safari, Festival of the Lion King, Expedition Everest, and dinner at Rainforest Cafe. fullsizerender_2Day 4 – Hollywood Studios! Such a fun day! We began early so we could try to get Charlie a spot in the Jedi Training…which we did! Highlights of this day were Jedi Training, lunch at Pizza planet from Toy Story, Tower of Terror, Indiana Jones show, Beauty and the Beast Live, Honey I Shrunk the Kids playground, and Fantasmic! fullsizerender_3Day 5 – Epcot!
